Later, he laughs about how shameful the body looks in death, prompting Mayu to contact him from beyond the grave to tell him not to look. To begin with, he seems to fetishize the body, going so far as to dig through it and apparently masturbate over it while taking pictures.

And of course, all this happens while you're facing the dangling body of your best friend. And if you were foolish enough to take a nap in the infirmary before investigating the newspaper in 3-A, you're "treated" to a Wrong End where the ghost children surround you and force you to stick a pair of sewing scissors in your mouth, far enough that the blades tap against your molars.

You've got two choices - try to free her or try to find something to help hold her up.

As if protected by Plot Armor Satoshi decides that his little sister is 2nd priority and finding Naomi is his 1st, an Earthquake happens (just because it can) which makes them the only characters to meet up with a person who were just in a different dimension before Chapter 5. Speaking of which, the whole section of Satoshi meeting up with Naomi in Chapter 4 also feels very forced. Naomi doesn't really contribute anything (apart from her 1st world problems) unlike Satoshi which atleast finds the doll which is required for the "True Ending". I also add that it also doesn't make any sense that we can't progress from Chapter 1 to 2 just because Naomi died, I would argue that Satoshi could've stayed with his little sister Yuka and he would've been fine.

I really dislike this part as in my opinion, the whole appeal of childhood friends is the flashback memories which would entice the readers to support their relationship. Not even a flashback pertaining the moment Satoshi fell in love with Naomi. Satoshi liking Naomi doesn't have any concrete reasoning apart from them being "childhood friends" by default. There's a couple of spoilers for Chapters 1, 4 and 5 here so please be advised when reading forward. This is based off of the revamped original Corpse Party (not the 98 version). First of all, I would like to state that this is merely my views upon the ship and that you are free to disagree.
